    I’m older, and that means I can’t hear high frequencies well. It also means I don’t give a **** about what all the tech bros say with their reviews and “trust me bro”. I just listen.

    I’m not a playlist listener but more of an album listener and I find qobuz to be a pretty good choice to have for a music streamer. It may not have every release ever …well,released but I bet you could find something to listen to.

    For ten bucks-ish a month you could do worse if you ‘re interested in listening to music on a platform that prioritizes quality over the others.

    A CD Player. You know? those shiny discs I kept in the basement for years until last year when I finally decided to sell them all for whatever I could get from them?

    Yeah, those.

    Apparently CD’s are a thing again. This device looks like fun but holy - $300 for a CD player in this day and age?

    That’s a hard no for me.

  4. That’s it. That’s the whole post. of course, I have no idea what site it came from (I have a few) because for whatever reason Amazon has to decided to make their reporting worse, but hey. I broke two month losing streak today so that’s a win.

    I’m still far, far away from making $100 a day, but this is a start.

  5. But, what I have done is moved my personal blog over to it’s own server instead of relying on platforms. I am done with platforms.

    The only platform I am using is buttondown as it’s the cleanest way to send a newsletter and it’s free for small ones like mine and if I do ever see any money from it, or my other silly little projects I will be happy to pay.
